Nutritional Supplement for Muscle, Arthritis & Joint Pain Relief

By Dr Melyni Worth

Miracle Mix CY ™ has a lot of ingredients, all of which are there to help some aspect of your health. It combines the best of Muscle Mix with nutrients that support joint health and minerals for overall well being.

Joint Health

Cynatine FLX™ is a natural alternative to Glucosamine and Chondriotin combining potent joint health and antioxidant properties into a single premium ingredient, extracted from pure New Zealand wool.

Hyaluronic Acid is an integral component of joint oil and connective tissue. One of its actions is to help the tissue hold water. It is naturally products in the body, but as the body ages production drops. Supplying HA in an oral form helps to increase the supply to skin and other connective tissue.

Muscadine is an extract of grape skin and seeds. Studies at the University of Georgia showed that muscadines derived from the muscadine grape have benefits as an anti-inflammatory and antagonist to C-reactive protein. It has been postulated muscadines can benefit joint health, heart health and as a general anti-inflammatory within the body.

Overall Health

Reserveratrol is a formidable antioxidant found to offer numerous health benefits, including cardiovascular and cognitive wellness. Reserveratrol has even been shown in studies to promote healthy aging and longevity. While the French have found consuming red wine a means to acquire the benefits of reserveratrol, supplements containing red wine and grape seed extracts are a convenient, concentrated alternative without the added calories or sulfites.

Vitamin D is known for its effect on bone hardening, but is, in fact, far more useful than that. Vitamin D continues to show health benefits beyond supporting healthy bones. A recent review article in the New England Journal of Medicine notes that in addition to bone health, Vitamin D may play a part in immune health, muscle health and more.

Vanadium has been shown to be beneficial in clearing glucose from the blood stream.

Rhodiola Rosea is a plant root used in traditional Chinese medicine that may increase an organism's resistance to stress. It has been proposed that Rhodiola can extend longevity and improve health span by alleviating oxidative stress. Rhodiola also has been reported to improve sleep, shorten recovery from exertion and improve mood.

Sodium Zeolite is a biologically available form of silicon. It is also an anti caking medium, one which stops the amino-acids forming into a solid block.

Muscle Health

Miracle Mix contains amino acids that will help you to retain your muscle strength and stop the loss of active muscle tissue when taken in combination with suitable exercise.

L-Alanine is a semi-essential amino acid, meaning that it is considered to be essential under certain circumstances. It is best known for its effects on the production of nitric oxide, a potent vasodilator. But it also has anti-atherogenic, anti-oxidant and immunomodulatory actions. It may also be involved in tissue repair such as healing wounds.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine is the acetylated form of L-Carnitine. It has been implicated in growth of neurons and in the release of dopamine from nerve ends. It may also assist with the binding of dopamine to its receptors and thus enhances neuron activity. Acetyl-L-Carnitine has a secondary effect of boosting mitochondrial energy metabolism through its ability to facilitate fatty acid transport and oxidation in the cell.

L-Glutamine is one of the most abundant amino acids in the body and participates in many reactions and activities. It is considered a semi-essential amino acid that can be synthesized, but under certain circumstances the supply cannot meet the demand and then it needs to be supplied in the diet. This amino acid is well known to body builders for its effect helping muscle recover from exertion and regain strength

L-Lysine is an essential amino acid that is involved in protein synthesis throughout the body. It has a well known activity in muscle repair and recovery and has a putative anti-herpes effect. It may also be involved in maintenance of bone integrity.

L-Methionine is an essential amino-acid. It has many vital roles in the body from hair growth, tissue repair and protein synthesis to production of SAMe, and many other important substances.

L-Threonine is an essential amino acid. This amino acid plays an important role, along with glycine and serine, in porphyrin metabolism. To be used effectively, threonine requires vitamin B6, magnesium, and niacin. Threonine is an important part of many proteins in the body and is necessary for the formation of tooth enamel, elastin and collagen. Elastin and collagin are both needed for healthy skin and wound healing. There are relatively high levels of threonine in the central nervous system. It has been used as a supplement to help alleviate anxiety and some cases of depression. The role of threonine nervous system function is highlighted by the body's increased demand for this amino acid during times of stress.

L-Tyrosine is a semi-essential amino acid considered to have anti-oxidative properties. It is also considered by some to be a treatment for depression due to its activity ion nerves. It can be synthesized from phenylalanine (another essential amino-acid). Tyrosine is needed to make epinephrine, nor epinephrine, serotonin, and dopamine, all of which work to regulate mood. Deficiencies in tyrosine, therefore, have been associated with depression. Tyrosine aids in the production of melanin (pigment responsible for hair and skin color) and in the function of organs in the body responsible for making and regulating hormones, including the adrenal, thyroid, and pituitary glands. It is also involved in the synthesis of enkephalins, substances that have pain-relieving effects in the body.

CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) has been reported to have properties of modifying body composition in humans. In experimental animals it has been reported to have anti-atherogenic (anti arthritis), anti-carcinogenic and anti-diabetagenic properties. Under certain circumstances it may reduce body fat and encourage production of lean body mass, in turn helping to increase muscle mass.

L-Leucine is a vital amino acid and is one of the Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA) involved in muscle recovery from exertion. BCAAs are also considered to be involved with maintenance of working muscle fibers in aging animals.

Minerals

Calcium Carbonate is an essential mineral involved in very many enzyme systems as well as in skeletal muscle. Here it also acts as a buffer to protect the stomach from the concentrated acids found in the mix.

Chromium Chelate is well known for its effects on carbohydrate metabolism and muscle recovery from exertion. We include it to help with muscle building and regeneration of strength.

Magnesium Chelate is an important cofactor in the activity of many enzyme systems, it helps to maintain peripheral circulation and aids in muscle relaxation.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is a disulphide that is considered to be a co-factor in energy producing reactions in the body. It helps with energy productions within the mitochondria and is considered to have a neuron sparing or saving effect by supporting the energy metabolism of neurons. It is a potent anti-oxidant and has been implicated in the treatment of diabetes and heart disease.

Jiagoluan (gynostemma pentafyllium) has been used to treat a wide range of conditions in its native area of China. It is believed to have an effect on regulating and strengthening the heart and blood vessels. It is considered to be an "adaptogen' or normalizer for the immune system and the cardiovascular system. It may have an effect of reducing the stickiness of platelets and thus help top prevent the formation of arterial plaques, and the Chinese also believe that it has an effect to support and strengthen liver function.
