Facts About Miracle Mix ™ Nutritional Supplement for Muscle, Arthritis & Joint Pain Relief
By Dr Melyni Worth
Miracle Mix has a lot of ingredients, all of which are there to help some aspect your health. It combines the best of Muscle Mix™ with nutrients that support joint health and minerals for overall well being.
Key ingredients for Joint health include:
Celadrin: A mix of esterified essential fatty acids. These fatty acids help maintain membrane integrity in cells. This helps the cartilage that lines the joints maintain its integrity as well as helping the cells of the connective tissue such as skin!
Hyaluronic acid: HA is an integral component of joint oil and connective tissue, ones of its actions is to help the tissue hold water. It is naturally produced in the body but as the body ages production drops. Supplying it in an oral form helps to increase the supply to skin and other connective tissue.
Glucosamine HCl and SO4: Glucosamine is a proteoglycan that helps to maintain and support healthy cartilage within joints. Regular use of glucosamine over time helps the joint to rebuild the cartilaginous lining to joints and delays the thinning and narrowing of the joint space, thus keeping the joint flexible and comfortable.
Chondriotin Sulphate: Chondriotin acts as a liquid magnet in the cartilage as in it helps to pull in the water needed to keep the cartilage slippery and elastic and to retain its shock absorbing properties.
Muscadine: is an extract of grape skin and seeds. Studies at the University of Georgia showed that muscadines derived from the muscadine grape have benefits as an anti-inflammatory and antagonist to C-reactive protein. It has been postulated muscadines can benefit joint health, heart health and as a general anti-inflammatory within the body.
Key ingredients for Muscle health include:
L-Alaninne: L-Alanine is a semi-essential amino acid, meaning that it is considered to be essential under certain circumstances. It is probably best known for it’s effects on the production of nitric oxide, a potent vasodilator. But it also has anti-atherogenic , anti-oxidant and immunomodulatory actions. It may also be involved in tissue repair such healing wounds.
Acetyl-L-Carnitine: Acetyl L-Carnitine is the acetylated form of L-Carnitine. It has been implicated in growth of neurons and in the release of dopamine from nerve ends. I t may also assist with the binding of dopamine to it’s receptors and thus enhances neuron activity.
It has a secondary effect of boosting mitochondrial energy metabolism through it’s ability to facilitate fatty acid transport and oxidation in the cell.
Citrulline Malate: Citrulline Malate is an amino acid that is a precursor for L-Alanine and is thus also considered a precursor for Nitric Oxide. Citrulline Malate helps with mitochondrial energy production.
L-Glutamine: L-Glutamine is one of the most abundant amino acids in the body and participates in many reactions and activities. It is considered a semi-essential amino acids that is it can be synthesized, buy under certain circumstances the supply cannot meet the demand and then it needs to be supplied in the diet. The amino acid is well known to body builders for its effect in helps muscle recover from exertion and regain strength.
L-Lysine: L-Lysine is an essential amino acid that is involved in protein synthesis through out the body. It has a well known activity in muscle repair and recovery and has a putative anti-herpes effect. It may also be involved in maintenance of bone integrity.
L-Methionine: Methionine is an essential amino-acid. It has many vital roles in the body from hair growth, tissue repair and protein synthesis to production of SAMe, and many other important substances.
L-Threonine: Threonine is an essential amino acid. This amino acid plays an important role along with glycine and serine in porphyrin metabolism. Excessive use of threonine can cause the formation of too much urea and consequently ammonia toxicity in your body. To be used effectively, threonine requires vitamin B6, magnesium, and niacin.
Threonine is an important part of many proteins in the body and is necessary for the formation of tooth enamel and elastin and collagen which both needed for healthy skin and wound healing.
Threonine is an important amino acid for the nervous system. There are relatively high levels of threonine in the central nervous system. It has been used as a supplement to help alleviate anxiety and some cases of depression. The role of threonine in the functioning of the nervous system is highlighted by the body's increased demand for this amino acid during times of stress.
L-Tyrosine: L-Tyrosine is a semi-essential acid, it is considered to have anti-oxidative properties. It is also considered by some to be a treatment for depression due to its activity ion nerves. It can be synthesized from phenylalanine (another essential amino-acid). T yrosine is needed to make epinephrine, norepinephrine, serotonin, and dopamine, all of which work to regulate mood. Deficiencies in tyrosine, therefore, have been associated with depression. Tyrosine also aids in the production of melanin (pigment responsible for hair and skin color) and in the function of organs in the body responsible for making and regulating hormones, including the adrenal, thryroid, and pituitary glands. Tyrosine is also involved in the synthesis of enkephalins, substances that have pain-relieving effects in the body.
CLA Conjugated Linoleic Acid: CLA has been reported to have properties of modifying body composition in humans. In experimental animals it has been reported to have anti-atherogenic (anti arthritis), anti-carcinogenic and anti-diabetagenic properties.
Under certain circumstances it may reduce body fat and encourage production of lean body mass (eg it helps to increase muscle mass).
Minerals included in Muscle Mix ™
Calcium Carbonate: Calcium is an essential mineral involved in very many enzyme systems as well in skeletal muscle. Here it also acts as a buffer to protect the stomach from the concentrated acids found in the mix.
Chromium Chelate: Chromium is of course well known for its effects on carbohydrate metabolism and muscle recovery from exertion. We include it of course to help with muscle regeneration of strength.
Copper Chelate: Copper is an essential cofactor for many enzymes especially those associated with connective tissue regeneration.
Manganese Chelate: Manganese is also an essential cofactor for many enzyme systems.
Magnesium Chelate: Magnesium is an essential cofactor for enzymes, is part of the hydroxyapatite of bone and is part of the recovery systems of working muscle.
Zinc Chelate: Zinc is an essential cofactor in enzyme systems associated with the immune system, cellular regeneration and connective tissue.
Alpha Lipoiic Acid: Alpha Lipoic Acid (aka thioctic acid) is a disulphide that is considered to be a co-factor in energy producing reactions in the body. It helps with energy production within the mitochondria and is considered to have a neuron sparing or saving effect by supporting the energy metabolism of neurons. It is a potent anti-oxidant and has been implicated in the treatment of diabetes and heart disease.
Jiagoluan (gynostemma pentafyllium): Gynostemma pentafyllium is sometime known by its Chinease name Jiagoluan. It has been used to treat a wide range of conditions in its native area od China. It is believed to have an effect on regulating and strengthening the heart and blood vessels. It is considered to be an ‘adaptogen’ or normaliser for the immune system and the cardiovascular system. It may have an effect of reducing the stickyness of platelets and thus help to prevent the formation of arterial plaques, and the Chinese also believe that is has an effect to support and strengthen liver function.
In the lab it has been shown to slow the division of cells and thus might have an effect to slow tumor formation. View Miracle Mix ™ Powder in our online store.
